Woke up at 4am to find temps well below the forecast 40 degrees, sitting at 33 with a feels-like of 29. Walked outside expecting the worst.

The plant took a light frost, mostly on the younger secondary leaves at the tips. But the 2741 recovered surprisingly well. Looking at it now in the evening sun you'd barely know it happened. These genetics are tougher than I expected.

The mini hoop house held steady at 70 degrees all night around the fruit and vine tip. That's what matters most.

36 hours post-pollination and I'm not overwhelmed by swelling yet, but it's still early. The ovary has rounded out and the peduncle looks strong. No yellowing, no softening. Fingers still crossed.
