2022 UK GIANT VEGETABLE SEED EXCHANGE

The UK Giant Vegetable Seed Exchange will run again this year. Each participant donates 30 packets of at least one type of giant or unusual seed. Hopefully, if each grower donates more than one type of seed, the seed pack will be as amazing as previous years. I have a few places available for overseas participants, on the understanding that shipping success can be unpredictable.

In order to help with shipping costs, I’m asking overseas participants to Paypal £5 to me. I will assemble the return packs and post out in December.

If you want to participate, then please message me with your pledge and I will reserve a place for you up to the limit of 30 places.

With the usual generous donations, there should be around 60 packs of amazing seeds from top growers.

How is this working now? Last time I did get the Bubble, with no seeds in it, and a nice letter from Customs... So has this been solved....?? Could be, but Im not thinking so.

I have run the scheme for the last 4 years, providing a full customs declaration on all overseas bubbles and packs all arrived intact to growers in Canada, USA and Europe. I also receive bubbles from several overseas growing associations Customs do not make the rules for non-commercial shipping clear I’m afraid. The rules are unclear and applied inconsistently. If I don’t receive seeds from a donator, I will still mail them a return bubble.

Count me in if you have room, I missed this last year. I really like the variety of seeds I received the year before especially the long chili's and the giant onions. I should have some 20foot sunflowers and some peter pepper-reapers to send your way.
