According to the pamphlet, Smoky Lake has prizes of
1st $1200 plus plaque
2nd $600 plus plaque
3rd $300 plus plaque
4th $200 plus ribbon
5th $175 plus ribbon
6th $150 plus ribbon
7th to 10th $100 each
8 hidden weight prizes of $100 each for
- competitors (4) in the 50 to 200 pound range
- competitors (4) in the 200 to 350 pound range

It is on Saturday, October 4th with pre-registration on Friday, October 3rd.

Open to anyone. Pumpkins must be a minimum of 100 lbs. Pumpkins must arrive at the rink on a tarp and pallet, or they will not be unloaded.

$5.00 entry fee, payable on arrival or mail one entry per person.

All entries to be at Roland Arena by 10:00 a.m., October 4, 2003.

Multiple cash and merchandise prizes for Hidden Pumpkin Weights.

The winner of the heaviest pumpkin will have their name engraved on the "VanWyck Trophy" which is to remain on display in Roland. There is a keepsake trophy for the winner to take home.
