            | Urban Farmer (Frantz) | No Place Special | Will it be open to growers from out of state in 05'? | 1/15/2005 7:01:04 PM |

            | shazzy | Joliet, IL | mike, i too am curious. what i have read on line and heardfrom another illinois grower is that its a great weigh off.
i would like to bring one over if i had something decent
to show from an early grown plant. but i did hear that
there might be an exclusion to out of state growers this
year. maybe tom b might know a bit more.

            | Tom B | Indiana | All that I know is that its going to be like 6 days earlier this year.....ugh That means that my pumpkin for contest will be about 150 lbs less. DAMMIT!
I know nothing about the out of state rules changing. I dont have a say in that, nor do I know if its even discussed.

            | PumpkinShepherd (Todd) | Indiana | You might try to get a hold of Kelly Klinker or aka Carlos on here and he should be able to find out since he is the site coordinator. Thanks, Todd | 1/21/2005 4:43:02 AM |

            | Kelly Klinker | Woodburn, Indiana | The only rule change was a minimum weight of 200 or 300 lbs I can't remember. The weighoff is open to anyone. | 1/26/2005 10:01:45 PM |

            | Gritch | valparaiso, in | would it be better to plant your state weigh off plant around march or april? just curious. | 1/27/2005 3:39:13 AM |

            | Kelly Klinker | Woodburn, Indiana | Bill, it is a normal weighoff so prizes consist of $1000 first, etc...Last year I started March 20 in the house, this year I think I will start my plants around April 1...
