               Joe himself grew a 933 DMG in 2004. Christy grew a 915 in 2004. All told there are 8 repoprted fruit over 500 lbs. In 2004 the 846 got as trial run locally. The grower saw a lot of stem end splits that year & the 846 has since been associated with this event whether deservedly or not.
  For sure every fruit grown on the 846 that I've seen has had great shape & color. The 501 Gansert '04 is one of the prettiest pumpkins ever.
