This being the first year growing the giants, my initial goal was to try to grow just one over 500lbs.
So far on 3 plants I have 8 pumpkins set. The first ones set are about 10ft from the stump. I believe they are impeding the growth of the other ones. They are approximately 3ft beyond the first. Since I'm not going to grow a record, I'm thinking if I should just try to grow as many as possible on one of the plants? Hmmm

Quality vs Quantity...you have more than one plant. Do this on one and grow the other two competetion style.

One per plant is the way to go

I am a first timer with giants as well. I only have one plant so am keeping 2. I have to have something to show come season end. For you, I'd maybe do 1 on 2 plants and 2 on the third plant (like Linus stated).

With multiple plants I'd grow one on each plant but maybe push one of the plants a little harder than the others.
