The Red Russian Garlic is under the pile on the left accumulating chill hours. Thursday, February 5 View Page I started some early season determinate tomatoes today. This is an experiment to see how early in the season we can harvest tomatoes. I will grow one plant of each in containers that will hopefully benefit from the microclimate against the west side of the house. They will be brought inside on cold nights. Sunday, May 17 View Page I started two DeMarco 367 seeds on May 10th. I will not be able to get down to the garden on weekdays as often as previous years, so we will see what happens. I also started a lot of tomatoes and peppers at different times this spring. The back up plan is a veggie garden if the pumpkins go down. More containers at home this season too. Tuesday, May 19 View Page It's a race to get our seedlings indoors now.
